ACEA: Sales of AvtoVAZ’ Lada cars in EU fall 20% in November

MOSCOW, Dec 17 (PRIME) – E.U. sales of Lada cars of Russia’s largest carmaker AvtoVAZ tumbled by 20.3% to 291 in November, the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) said on Tuesday.

The sales fell by 7.3% on the year to 4,520 cars in January–November.

Total sales of new cars in the E.U. rose by 4.9% to 1.17 million vehicles, but fell by 0.3% to 14.12 million vehicles in January–November. Among the largest markets, only Germany’s market has expanded by 3.9% since the beginning of the 2019, while all other major markets shrank.
